Remy Van Kesteren - Shadows **SOLD OUT**

Remy van Kesteren was five years old when he became enchanted by the sound of the harp.

Immediately devoted to the instrument, Remy developed into an internationally renowned classical harpist, winning all manner of awards and competitions, and performing in concert halls all over the world.

But by the time Remy had reached his mid-20s, he knew: this wasn’t it. Not all of it.

In preparing for a new album, Remy surrounded himself with musicians from all corners of the musical world, from hip-hop and pop to modern classical and jazz, seeking to draw inspiration from them. But it was not until the day he forgot to bring his harp to one of the sessions that something truly amazing happened.

Remy realised that even without his impressive harp, he was still a musician. Outside of his comfort zone, vulnerable, but still a musician – with endless possibilities before him.

The resulting project – Shadows – is a genre-blending mélange of neo-classical, electronic and ambient influences. A tour-de-force of originality and and a landmark release in contemporary music.
